We succeed at this by producing a vast array of projects which include :

New Jersey Sneaker Drive to Benefit Rwandan OrphansPosted on November 23, 2008 by Marie Claudine MUKAMABANO

Wow !!!!!!!!!
Seventh and eighth grade Christian Formation Student at St. Vincent Martyr Catholic Church are coordinating a sneaker drive for Rwandan Orphans. They will be collecting new or gently used sneakers in all sizes now through December 5TH.

The Gisimba Orphanage and MUHIMA Primary School in Kigali, Rwanda was first brought to the attention of the St. Vincent’s Community by Marie Claudine MUKAMABANO, a parishioner and Rwandan Genocide survivor orphan.

The Students heard her story of losing her family, friends and neighbors to genocide and helping the many orphaned children of Rwanda became the focus of their current service project.

When asked why sneakers would be so important Ms. MUKAMABANO replied,” Many of the children don’t have shoes. The ones who do are forced to wear them for 2-3 years. New shoes would make a good Christmas gift.”
Collection boxes will be place throughout town in Madison New JERSEY,including the Madison Library, Melan Footwear,Nautilus Diner , Madison Pharmacy, Romanelli’s and Wild Things, as well as in the vestibule of St. Vincent Martyr Church and on the second floor of the Parish ministry center.Monetary donations may also be made to help defer the cost of shipping. Checks should be made out to
