City College University Intern arrives KUKI NDIHO Rwanda

Jennifer Bellisario is very excited to be interning with Kuki Ndiho in summer 2010! She is a graduate of The City College of New York, where she majored in music performance on the piano. In the fall, she will begin working on her Masters degree in ethnomusicology at Hunter College. Jennifer is interested in learni…ng about the music of different cultures, and how music can be used to convey powerful social messages. She believes that working with children in Kigali will help her expand upon her teaching skills. Jennifer’s goal in Rwanda is to share her knowledge with others, and inspire them to continue seeking to learn.
