SNEAKER DRIVE

Kuki Ndiho partners with community organizations, schools of all levels, religious and cultural institutions to gather, collect and ship much-needed clothing items to its orphans in Rwanda. Annual Sneaker Drive

Seventh and eighth grader at the Christian Formation Student at St. Vincent Martyr Catholic Church in MADISON, NEW JERSEY are holding a sneaker drive for Rwandan Orphans through the holiday season. Marie Claudine wins Ambassador for Peace award

We are pleased to inform you that you have been nominated to receive the Universal Peace Federation‘s Ambassador for Peace award. We give this honor to individuals who have contributed substantially to world peace through interfaith and reconciliation, service to others or promoting the family. It will be our honor to present this award to you during our event at the United Nations in celebration of the International Day of Families on the theme:  “The Impact of Migration on Families around the World”.

The Universal Peace Federation and other co-sponsors are organizing this event in order to discuss how the adaptability and stability of the family can be maintained despite threats by a wide range of social developments, such as migration, and other economic, political or cultural influences.

Our event will be held at Conference Room E, NLB from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Monday, May 17th.

The program is scheduled to run as follows: 10:00-10:55 – Panel “Challenges to the Security of the Human Family” 10:55-11:10 – Break and refreshments 11:10-12:30 – Guest Speakers and Interactive Workshop 12:30-12:45 – Closing Session

Celebrate the 61st anniversary of the declaration of Human Rights Dec. 10

The Universal Declaration of Human Rights  is a declaration adopted by the United Nations General Assembly on December 10, 1948 in Paris. The Declaration represents the first global expression of rights to which all human beings are entitled. SEPTEMBER 21 is International Day of Peace.

Marie Claudine MUKAMABANO, KUKI NDIHO RWANDA ORPHANS SUPPORT PROJECT and the St. Famille Parish of Rwanda are collaborating for the implementation of Culture of Peace in the HEARTS of Rwandan Orphans and Youth in Rwanda by providing different activities, including speakers, a soccer game and music/dance.

Come and join the many speakers who will explain how implementation of a Culture of Peace is very important in our lifetime.

You will learn how to avoid the negative feelings in your heart in order to have a PERMANANT PEACE in your Heart, PEACE OF MIND and JOY, like JESUS CHRIST’S daily greeting, ”PEACE be with YOU”. I hope that we too will always wish peace to each other in our daily lives.
