“Dr. Claudine, I am so grateful for YOU!” Published on Her Facebook page, Author & Editor Cindy S. Johnson

Guys, this woman is the person behind my success…. She’s a survivor of the 1994 genocide in Rwanda. I am, because she is. God used her to help me discover my platform(s). My first public speaking engagement was actually at a pageant 7 years ago in which she encouraged me to participate despite my fear! When asked to create a platform, I couldn’t settle on one. I had three:

1) literacy awareness,

2) women’s empowerment, and

3) cultural identity.

(That evening back in 2012, I chose to present on women’s empowermentWhat is the meaning of true beauty?) I decided to take a leap of faith and launch into the deep only 5 years ago in 2014, cultivating each platform which became my life’s purpose(s).

Although the people come and go, as they always will, these platforms still remain… So grateful that a God-given purpose never dies. It goes beyond you, it reaches people you will never meet and goes to places you will never visit. Your purpose precedes you. It goes before you… Think on it. Your purpose leads you to your destiny…

And, when you take a break/hiatus, the purpose still operates, and waits for you until you return as is your destiny. When you’re ready to pick up your purpose again, it’s as if you never took a break… Never underestimate the gift (and power) God has planted in you. Be grateful for the people God has placed in your life for a reason, season, or lifetime…

Find yourself a mentor. Those who’ve made it will always have a hand ready to lift another. Become that person who understands and operates in the principle, “It is more blessed to give than to receive.” Always remember that! It is the secret to success.
God’s heart has always been about about the people. It will always be about the people. BE about the people.
Here’s to a beautiful rest of the year, and an EMPOWERING upcoming new year! <3
