Annual Sneaker Drive

Seventh and eighth grader at the Christian Formation Student at St. Vincent Martyr Catholic Church in MADISON, NEW JERSEY are holding a sneaker drive for Rwandan Orphans through the holiday season. SCHOOL FEES PROBLEM

People blame someone for not going to school yet this shouldn’t be the case since failure to go to school resides in one’s inability to get school fees. Sometimes a student may be away from school throughout the academic year or during the examination period not because the student doesn’t want to be at school but because of the lack of school fees. Needy families find it hard to cater for their children’s school fees and this leads to their children being denied chance to write the exam. Sometimes students are denied chance to take exams not because of their poor performance in class but because of the lack of school fees. KUKI NDIHO EXECUTIVE TEAM in RWANDA asked one of the students who were denied chance to write the exam as a result of lacking school fees, and she was asked to share her feelings after being denied chance to write the exam and she said, “The fact that I’ve been denied my chance to write the exam, not because I’m weak in class, but because of lacking school fees has saddened me and left me heartbroken because I consider this the denial of rights though I hail . . . → Read More: SCHOOL FEES PROBLEM
