We visited the Newark City Hall, NJ

Friday we attended a meeting of the African Commission at City Hall in Newark, NJ. We were there to tell them a little about our International Day for Peace  and Rwandan  flag-raising ceremony we will be holding there on September 20, 2012 from 5-8 pm.

After the discussion we took a tour of the rotunda where the flag-raising ceremony is to take place (below is a picture). Most of the equipment that we need for the event will be provided.

We need to discuss coming up with a finger food to provide guests and maybe small Rwanda flags or pins to give the guests.

The flag will be raised on the flag pole right in front of city hall
